FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 8, 2026
Mission Education, LLC today announced the IPD Pathways to Distinction Academy, a new high school educational initiative of the Institute for Professional Distinction. The Academy brings together 14 focused online courses designed to help students in grades 9–12 build practical skills for school, work, leadership, and the transition to life after high school.
Each standalone course is designed for teen attention spans, runs approximately 55 to 90 minutes, and concludes with a useful artifact students can apply right away—from a weekly time map or first-job toolkit to a scholarship plan, conflict-conversation plan, or first-semester success roadmap.
“Students deserve more than advice about what comes next. They need practical opportunities to rehearse the choices, conversations, and habits that help them succeed,” said Dr. Jeffrey S. Weaver, founder of Mission Education and the Institute for Professional Distinction. “The IPD Pathways to Distinction Academy gives young people focused, accessible ways to turn knowledge into confident action.”
